Just few days ago I came across a very interesting plugin call the Odiogo, it works for WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, BlogEngine.NET and Terepad blog platforms. What it does? It enabled your post and writtings in your blog to be turn into audio.

It can be seen from my blog post embedded with a new “Listen Button”, click it to play the near-human-speech quality audio.

It supports automatic podcast generation, detailed download statistics and most importantly you could Make Money from the embedded ads.

Why is it good? Your readers certainly can listen to your blog instead of reading it, and your posts could reach more readers/listeners through iPod, MP3 players and moblie phone owneres and more.

To use the Odiogo plugins, go to Odiogo: Voice your content to sign up for FREE and download the plugin to be used in your Wordpress Blog.

To install and activate the Odiogo Plugin, follow the steps below:

  1. Unzip the plugin and upload the plugin folder to your /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Go to your WordPress interface and activate the Odiogo Listen Button plugin.
  3. Go to options > Odiogo Listen Button and key in your Odiogo Feed ID provide after your registration with Odiogo.
  4. Done, you will have your Odiogo Listen Button in each and every of your blog post.
